In this video iam showing how to make Srilankan style Brinjal moju in a different and tasty way. This brinjal moju(eggplant moju/pickle) origin from malay and it is very popular among Srilankan people. It has a very unique taste with sweetness, sourness, and spiciness. This is a perfect combination for yellow rice, lumprice so in every wedding this must be compulsory side dish. You can store this in a dry air tight container upto a month. Here green chilli, shallots,dry fishes playing a major role for enhance the taste ,but most of the people don’t want to add dry fish for brinjal moju but here iam recreating the recipe from Traditional me & Poorna- The naturegirl’s Moju recipe, So if you want to skip the dry fish in this brinjal moju go ahead.

green chilli 5
curry leaves
pandan leaves
onion 1
ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
red chilli flakes 1tsp
turmeric powder 1/4tsp
white vinegar 1tbsp
sugar 1tbsp
mustered seeds powder 1/4tsp
dry fish 50g
